Here is the flywheel truing stand that I make here in my shop .
All of the major components are made from 6061-T6 aluminum bar ,
and it is extremely well made . The flywheel assembly rolls on 4 precision
ball bearings , and the indicator rides on the end of the mainshaft , and you
can check the assembly for trueness (or runout) . This will work on virtually
any 'built up' type crank assembly , Harley , Indian , and most of the Japaneese
cranks , both 2 & 4 stroke assemblies . Adjusts to any width and is also adjustable for cranks with 2 differnt mainshaft diameters . I used this type of truing stand for years when I worked as a mechanic , sold the one that I had back then and could not find a replacment anywhere so I descided to build my own , and now you can add one to your tool collection .
